Workshop Info

• Meadow Lane Macrame (MLM) offers 2 types of workshops: Public & Private.

• Public Workshops: hosted by a library, community center, restaurant, brewery etc and open to everyone/patrons. The host provides the space, handles sign-up, participant fee collection, advertising/marketing.

• Private Workshops: you provide the location and create the guest list- perfect for birthdays, bridal showers, knot & sip or just learning something new in the comfort of your own home!

• Currently, the following workshops are being offered: functional macrame Plant Hangers and boho-style macrame Wall Hangings. Other options may be available, please inquire if you have ideas/requests and for more information on these 2 options.

• Both workshops are introductory level and require NO previous experience. Beginners welcome!

• All materials will be provided by MLM including recycled cotton string, wooden or metal rings (plant hangers), driftwood (wall hangings), tools, printed instructional guides to bring home and in-person, day-of instructor expertise. Plants & pots are NOT provided (plant hangers).

• Each workshop runs approximately 2 hours and participants will (generally) have a finished product to bring home and enjoy!

• Participants are given freedom to make creative decisions regarding their design…with lots of support.

• Workshops are limited to those who are 13+. Inquire regarding special workshops for kids!

• Workshops are generally limited to 15 participants with a minimum of 5.

• Current fee = $45 per participant.

• Workshops often fill up fast, so advance sign-up including payment is required. This also helps with prepping materials appropriately.

• Alternative to a per person fee, a flat fee may be an option. Please inquire to discuss.
